{"id":1293,"date":"2023-06-09T09:20:45","date_gmt":"2023-06-09T09:20:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.ige.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=1293"},"modified":"2023-06-09T09:20:45","modified_gmt":"2023-06-09T09:20:45","slug":"the-institute-of-genetic-engineering-participates-in-the-scientific-debate-between-the-students-of-the-university-of-baghdad-and-the-university-of-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.ige.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=1293","title":{"rendered":"The Institute of Genetic Engineering participates in the scientific debate between the students of the University of Baghdad and the University of Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr. Dean of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies \/ University of Baghdad, Assistant Professor Dr. &#8220;Saif Daoud Al-Ahmar&#8221; and the Director of the Media Unit participated in the student scientific-cultural debate between students of the University of Baghdad and students of the University of Technology.<br \/>\nThe debate, which the Hall of the Martyr Al-Hakim hosted at the University of Baghdad, was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, Prof. Dr. Haidar Abd Dhahad the Undersecretary of the Ministry for the Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Munir Al-Saadi, President of the University of Baghdad, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghabban, President of the University of Technology And the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Khawarizmi, Professor Dr. Wadud Taher, and a large number of teachers and students.<br \/>\nThe debate held between the students of Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad and the students of the College of Engineering at the University of Technology aimed at developing students&#8217; knowledge and scientific skills in their specialization.<br \/>\nDuring the debate, the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, delivered a speech in which he affirmed that the ministry is working to achieve the goals of university higher education and to meet the community&#8217;s need to prevent wasting university energies.<br \/>\nThe debate ended with the University of Baghdad winning 10 points compared to 9 for the Technological University.
