{"id":1601,"date":"2024-08-28T23:48:14","date_gmt":"2024-08-28T23:48:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.ige.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=1601"},"modified":"2024-08-28T23:48:14","modified_gmt":"2024-08-28T23:48:14","slug":"the-council-of-the-genetic-engineering-institute-holds-its-first-meeting-headed-by-dr-salwa-jaber-al-awadi-and-issues-a-number-of-decisions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.ige.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=1601","title":{"rendered":"The Council of the Genetic Engineering Institute holds its first meeting, headed by Dr. Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi, and issues a number of decisions."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Council of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies\/University of Baghdad held its first meeting, headed by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. &#8220;Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi&#8221;, and the membership of the honorable members of the Council.<br \/>\nThe meeting confirmed the recommendations of the honorable President of the University of Baghdad, issued during the last meeting of the esteemed University Council.<br \/>\nIt was also approved to form a number of scientific discussion committees for a number of PhD and Master&#8217;s students, as well as ratifying the formation of two scientific committees in the two branches of the Institute, in addition to naming two scientific councils for each of them.<br \/>\nThe meeting hosted the Quality Assurance Officer at the Institute, Prof. Dr. &#8220;Bushra Jassim Muhammad&#8221;, to discuss the mechanisms for the annual evaluation of scientific and administrative cadres, and also hosted the Chairman of the Examination Committee, Prof. Dr. &#8220;Muhammad Ibrahim Nader&#8221;, to discuss the plan and preparations for conducting the second round exams for students and the comprehensive exam for PhD students.<br \/>\nIn a related context, the meeting hosted the Head of the Maintenance Unit, Lecturer Dr. &#8220;Wissam Hazem Salo&#8221; and Lecturer Dr. &#8220;Zainab Hatef&#8221; to discuss the commencement of maintenance work that includes all parts of the institute in preparation for the new academic year 2024-2025.
