The Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies\/University of Baghdad hosted two great scientific figures who are considered to be among the institute’s founders, namely Professor Dr. “Nahiya Abdul Hussein”, who is the second dean in the history of the institute, as well as her sister Professor Dr. Nouria Abdul Hussein.
\nIn turn, the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. “Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi” introduced both Dr. Nahia and Dr. Nouria to the instructors and members of the institute, as well as the great role in laying the first bricks for establishing the institute and the difficulties and challenges they faced at that time.
\nShe also spoke about their role in graduating hundreds of students from the institute and how they benefited from their experience in this scientific field. During the celebration, the new appointees were welcomed, especially those who were recently distributed to the institute and who have become an integral part of the family of the Genetic Engineering Institute, where the respected Dean invited them in turn to follow the fragrant biography of the great professors, especially Professor Dr. Nahia Abdul Hussein and Professor Dr. Nouria Abdul Hussein and their important scientific contributions. At the same time, a special celebration was held for the lecturer Dr. “Wasan Abdul Razzaq Gharbi” who completed the procedures for her transfer to one of the formations of the University of Baghdad based on her desire, as well as referring the financial officer of the scientific magazine, the assistant lecturer “Groub Kamel” to retirement after reaching the legal age. In this regard, Dr. Al-Awadi expressed her thanks and appreciation to the respected Dr. Wassan, and to the respected assistant lecturer “Groub Kamel” and to their great efforts in serving the institute throughout their work in it, stressing that the doors of the institute will remain open to them whenever they want.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
