The exhibition was held under the slogan <strong data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"533\">\u201cToday&#8217;s Innovation&#8230; Tomorrow&#8217;s Cure\u201d<\/strong> in collaboration with the Department of Women&#8217;s Affairs and Human Rights.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"764\">Dr. Issam\u2019s participation included presenting his patented invention titled <strong data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"762\">&#8220;A New Diagnostic Kit for Detecting Anti-Estrogen Receptor Antibodies.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"1619\">The patent revolves around the production of a diagnostic kit designed to detect a previously unknown disease\u2014<strong data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"913\">anti-estrogen receptor antibodies<\/strong>\u2014using an ELISA test specifically developed for this condition. For the first time globally, antibodies were discovered in the blood of some women suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Despite having high estrogen levels in their blood, the hormone was found to be ineffective. Through the development of an ELISA test to measure the concentration of these antibodies, it was determined that their levels were significantly high in this category of patients. These antibodies attack estrogen receptors, remain bound to them, and prevent the hormone from functioning properly. As a result, patients exhibit symptoms of estrogen deficiency despite having elevated hormone levels in their bodies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1621\" data-end=\"1738\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Dr. Issam\u2019s patent was awarded the <strong data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"1680\">Shield of Excellence<\/strong> and a <strong data-start=\"1687\" data-end=\"1719\">Certificate of Participation<\/strong> in the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2090&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Professor Dr. Issam Fadel Alwan Al-Jumaili from the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies at the &#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":37,"featured_media":2089,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[14,17,7],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2107","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-archives","category-last-news","category-a-a"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
