The seminar was chaired by Dr. <strong data-start=\"395\" data-end=\"417\">Ahmed Saadi Khalaf<\/strong>, with <strong data-start=\"424\" data-end=\"438\">Rasha Taha<\/strong>, Assistant Agricultural Engineer, serving as the rapporteur.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"501\" data-end=\"686\">The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs, the underlying reasons that drive individuals to consume or abuse them, as well as methods of prevention and treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"966\">The seminar introduced a range of concepts and definitions related to the topic, such as addiction\u2014viewed as both a psychological and sometimes physiological condition resulting from a person\u2019s interaction with drugs, characterized by specific responses and behavioral patterns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1175\">The workshop also discussed the classifications of drugs, including natural, synthetic, and semi-synthetic types, along with the various forms of drug abuse and the factors that lead individuals to drug use.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1348\">The workshop recommended a series of crucial stages for drug rehabilitation and treatment, including psychological, social, practical, and community reintegration efforts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1350\" data-end=\"1516\">It also called for the establishment of a dedicated anti-drug law and emphasized the important roles that families must play in addressing and mitigating this threat.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2315&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; onclick=&#8221;img_link_large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] The Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad organized an educational scientific &#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":37,"featured_media":2314,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[14,17,7],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2318","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-archives","category-last-news","category-a-a"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
