They also made special visits to several specialized research centers in fields of mutual scientific interest with the Institute, in addition to holding a series of meetings with Iranian academics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"694\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Dr. Ahmed Saadi Khalaf, Lecturer at the Institute, presented his research at the conference titled:<\/span><br data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"589\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u201cMolecular Mimicry as a Common Factor in the Immune Response to Rheumatic Fever and Toxoplasmosis.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"966\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The study aimed to highlight the role of molecular mimicry as a shared immunological mechanism between rheumatic fever, one of the most serious complications of <em data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"878\">Streptococcus A<\/em> infection, and toxoplasmosis (Toxoplasma gondii), a widespread parasitic disease.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1579\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">On the sidelines of the conference, the faculty delegation from the Institute met with the senior academic staff of Ferdowsi University, including the University President, his deputies, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, several heads of academic departments, as well as representatives from the Biotechnology Research Center, Nanotechnology Center, and Food Technology Center. The meetings focused on enhancing and strengthening scientific cooperation between the Institute and Ferdowsi University and its research centers to advance collaborative research and modern educational curricula.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1886\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">It is worth mentioning that a large number of Iranian researchers, including professors from Ferdowsi University and other universities, had also made distinguished contributions to the Sixth International Scientific Conference held on April 20, 2025, by presenting a series of scientific studies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2607&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; onclick=&#8221;img_link_large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2606&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; onclick=&#8221;img_link_large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] A number of faculty members from the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies \/ University of &#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":37,"featured_media":2608,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[14,17,7],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2619","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-archives","category-last-news","category-a-a"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
