Prof. Dr. Weam Ahmed Al-Aamili<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"520\">Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Imad Mohammed<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"849\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The study aimed to investigate genetic and immunological biomarkers that may assist in diagnosing peripheral neuropathy, in addition to conducting an in-depth analysis of all genetic factors associated with the development of cancer and chemotherapy-induced neuropathy through whole-genome sequencing using <strong data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"848\">NGS technology<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"976\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The dissertation examined the side effects of chemotherapy and its impact on peripheral neuropathy in breast cancer patients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"978\" data-end=\"1169\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The study emphasized the importance of patients\u2019 quality of life, noting that curing cancer alone is not sufficient\u2014patients must also enjoy a good quality of life after completing treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1171\" data-end=\"1467\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The study recommended several points to the medical community, most notably the importance of monitoring chemotherapy side effects and treating them at early stages, adopting <strong data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1381\">personalized medical approaches<\/strong>, and targeting the metabolic pathways involved in neuropathy with specific therapies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2722&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; onclick=&#8221;img_link_large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2720&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; onclick=&#8221;img_link_large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2719&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; onclick=&#8221;img_link_large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2718&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; onclick=&#8221;img_link_large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] The Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the PhD dissertation &#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":37,"featured_media":2721,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[14,17,7],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2716","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-archives","category-last-news","category-a-a"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
