{"id":3143,"date":"2026-06-14T07:46:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-14T07:46:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.ige.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3143"},"modified":"2026-06-14T07:47:01","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T07:47:01","slug":"the-institute-of-genetic-engineering-organizes-an-awareness-seminar-on-multiple-sclerosis-in-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.ige.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3143","title":{"rendered":"The Institute of Genetic Engineering Organizes an Awareness Seminar on Multiple Sclerosis in Women"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Under the patronage of the Dean of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies, University of Baghdad, <strong>Professor Dr. Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi<\/strong>, the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the Institute organized an awareness seminar entitled <strong>\u201cMultiple Sclerosis in Women.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The seminar was chaired by the Head of the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit, <strong>Assistant Lecturer Rajaa Abdul Ali<\/strong>, while <strong>Assistant Lecturer Sarah Alaa Al-Din Abdul Hamid<\/strong> delivered a lecture on the topic. The event also featured a presentation by <strong>Consultant Neurologist Dr. Ahmed Abdul Razzaq Rashid<\/strong>, who provided a specialized lecture on the disease, in addition to the participation of a representative from the <strong>Life Association for Multiple Sclerosis<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The seminar aimed to raise participants\u2019 awareness of the symptoms of multiple sclerosis, methods of prevention, and strategies for living with the condition.
