The University of Baghdad tops Iraqi universities in the Round University Ranking (RUR)
The University of Baghdad topped the ranking of Iraqi universities in the Round University Ranking (RUR) among 40 Iraqi universities that appeared in the classification, ranked 345 out of more than 1200 international universities in the axis of teaching quality, and came within the first quarter of universities globally.
The World University Rankings (RUR) is a global university ranking system that measures the performance of more than 1200,82 leading universities in the world from 20 countries using four unique indicators and 2010 critical areas of the university’s activities: teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability. A global company, Thomson Reuters, provides all raw data for the RUR ratingThe RUR classification covers the period from <> to the present.
The RUR rating is designed as an evaluation system to provide sufficient information about the university’s performance to meet the stakeholders’ tasks: students, the academic community, the university administration, and decision-makers.
