The President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ensaf, received in his private office, in the presence of the Dean of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Saif Daoud Al-Ahmar and his assistant for administrative and scientific affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Hussein Aziz, the visiting scientific delegation. From the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, as part of the scientific cooperation between the University of Baghdad and the University of Tehran.
The President of the University and the Dean of the Institute welcomed the Iranian delegation consisting of Dr. Farsad Nourizadeh, Dr. Reza Azizian Hadi, Dr. Babak Burakbari, and Dr. Sayyed Mustafa Hosseini, stressing the University of Baghdad’s great pride in opening horizons of scientific cooperation with the Iranian side. At the level of all sciences, especially the fields of genetic engineering and biotechnology.
The honourable President of the University also appreciated the great role played by the Deanship of the Institute of Genetic Engineering, represented by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Saif Daoud Al-Ahmar, and his efforts to open horizons of scientific cooperation with various Arab, regional and international universities and the contribution of these movements to attracting scientific expertise to our beloved country.
