Professor at the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies / University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. “Issam Fadhel Alwan” participated in the activities of the international scientific forum held in the Arab Republic of Egypt under the title “Chemistry and Nanotechnology between the Present and the Future”. The activities of the forum were held under the direct supervision of the Union of Arab Chemists and with the participation of the Egyptian Chemistry Fellowship Association, the Iraqi Society for Clinical Biochemistry and the Bahraini Chemists Association. The participation of Dr. Issam included the honorable as a keynote speaker at the forum and the scientific lecture entitled: “The use of flavonoid compounds extracted from Iraqi sumac and loaded on silver nanoparticles as an anti-cancer treatment” and received a certificate of participation and a medal of honor from the administration.
