About the Ibn Sina unit in the Institute of Genetic Engineering

Ibn Sina unit is one of the new units that are interested in supporting the activities of e-learning and training the use of modern technologies, if it seeks to spread the culture of e-learning in the Institute and support faculty members to produce and convert your courses to electronic courses, the unit also seeks to provide courses, workshops and seminars for members of the teaching committee and supervise the Institute’s website and update it on the Internet as well as supervise the sites of the scientific departments in the Institute and develop and update it on the Internet as the unit is interested in helping members Faculty on the preparation of CVs and their electronic positions (create an e-mail, create an e-mail)

Tasks of Ibn Sina Electronic Editing Unit

• Training and assisting teachers to use the Google Classroom educational platform.
• Training graduate students to use the Google Classroom educational platform.
• Direct supervision and follow-up of electronic and in-person lessons.
• Identify the problems suffered by e-learning at the Institute.
• Providing the university and the ministerial team with a report on the educational process.
• Work on the introduction of teachers in special educational courses in e-learning.
• Providing the university with statistics on the number of students, whether in e-learning or attendance, as well as the number of passers, repeaters, complements, digitizers, and vaccinators.
• Preparing electronic tables to calculate the capacities and grades of students.
• Holding seminars and an introductory workshop on modern technologies and educational platforms such as Reasearsh gate, orcidal.
• Coordination with the departments of the Institute regarding the teaching of study courses remotely in light of the Corona pandemic.
• Addressing the Electronic Computer Center to offer to provide students with the university ID in order to enter the Google Classroom platform.
• The contribution of the Ibn Sina unit with the continuous learning unit to establish workshops, courses and electronic seminars.
• Contribute to the preparation of electronic tables and send them to the Ibn Sina Center for the purpose of following up the position of the Institute by the university and the Ministry.
