The unit’s tasks include reviewing requests for the establishment of scientific departments and branches, following up on the approval of curricula according to regulations and instructions, reviewing the transactions of experienced professors, granting study leaves and partial leave within Iraq, following up on the implementation of pioneering projects, following up on the holding of scientific seminars and conferences specific to the institute and scientific journals, in addition to following up on the work of the divisions and units in the institute.
