The role of the Academic Promotions Unit is to follow up on the promotion of the institute’s faculty members who have met the promotion requirements from the rank of assistant lecturer to the rank of professor, according to the instructions received from the Central Promotions Committee. The Promotions Committee consists of the committee’s chairman, its rapporteur, and its members who represent various specializations, in addition to the committee’s secretary.
