The laboratory was opened in the middle of the academic year 2013 and the laboratory aims to develop and develop lines of cancer and non-cancer cells in the laboratory, which serve a lot in the research fields to be accessible to researchers to develop their research, and these constitute the main and first pillar in cancer and genetic diseases research, which will contribute to helping graduate students at the Institute conduct their experiments on cancerous and natural cells and related matters.

The availability of cancer cell lines is a key factor for the completion of cancer research, so the Institute seeks to establish and provide a number of lines, and the importance of this research in the field of cancer diseases is focused on measuring the effectiveness of antibodies and studying the effect of plant extracts and biological treatments using cell lines.

The laboratory has all the devices for tissue culture.
visions and goals

1 – Providing cancer and natural cell lines as basic requirements for the completion of research in addition to providing a bank for cell lines in freezing in order to preserve and provide them permanently.

2 – Holding specialized scientific seminars.

3 – Holding training courses in the specialty of tissue transplantation.

4 – Providing all optimal conditions for graduate students to conduct their research in the field of tissue transplantation properly.

5 – Giving theoretical and practical lectures to graduate students in the subject of tissue transplantation.

6- Establishing a unit for the animal house that includes types of laboratory animals for research and therapeutic purposes.
