The Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad received a delegation from Al-Farahidi University, represented by Professor Dr. Mohsen Jabr, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Taha Shawy Murad, a member of the Scientific Committee. The delegation was welcomed by Professor Dr. Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi, Dean of the Institute, along with members of the institute’s council and several heads of subcommittees responsible for the preparations for the 6th International Scientific Conference, scheduled to take place on April 20 in collaboration with Al-Farahidi University.
Meeting Discussions
The meeting focused on the final preparations for the conference, including its overall structure, the work of specialized committees, and the scientific research papers submitted for participation, which have been reviewed by the assigned committee.
Additionally, discussions covered the scientific exhibitions that will be held alongside the conference, as well as the scientific sessions, which will include presentations by local, international, and guest researchers.

Professor Dr. Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi, the Dean of the Institute, expressed her deep appreciation for Al-Farahidi University’s significant role in preparing for the conference.
