The Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies, University of Baghdad, conducted the competitive entrance examination on Tuesday morning for applicants seeking admission to the Ph.D., Master’s, and Higher Diploma programs for the 2026–2027 academic year. A total of 156 applicants participated in the examination, which was held across five examination halls. The examinations commenced at 9:00 a.m. under comprehensive administrative and academic supervision, ensuring a well-organized examination process.
The examination was attended by a ministerial committee from the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, headed by Professor Dr. Mushtaq Shakir Al-Shaibani. The committee was accompanied by Dr. Ali Abdul Hassan, Director of the University President’s Office, and Dr. Yusra Abdul Sahib, Director of the Graduate Studies Department at the University of Baghdad Presidency. During their visit, they reviewed the examination process and the organizational procedures in place, commending the Institute for its excellent organization and thorough preparations, which provided a suitable and orderly examination environment for all applicants.
