The Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies / University of Baghdad participated in the exhibition of scientific products of Iraqi universities, which was held in one of the halls of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the university, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ansaf, in addition to the respected members of the Association of Arab Universities and the distinguished members of the University of Baghdad Council.
The exhibition was opened by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and the university presidents participating in the fifty-sixth session of the Conference of the Association of Arab Universities held in the capital, Baghdad.
The university’s faculties of humanities, pure sciences, and the medical group participated in the exhibition, by displaying the scientific products of each formation.
The Institute’s participation included several patents, publications, and scientific research by the Institute’s professors, which achieved scientific service in the fields of genetic engineering and biotechnology.
The Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Saif Daoud Al-Ahmar, supervised the organization of the Institute’s scientific participation pavilion at the exhibition, and the presence of members of the committee formed for this purpose.
