The Deanship of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies / University of Baghdad held a meeting headed by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. “Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi”, in the presence of the Scientific and Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Hussein Aziz, and the heads of branches and rapporteurs with the teaching staff of the Institute, coinciding with the start of the official working hours for the new academic year 2024-2025, where the meeting included the Dean welcoming the respected teaching staff, congratulating them on the start of the new academic year, wishing them a year full of successes and important scientific achievements.
She expressed her readiness to overcome all difficulties facing all the Institute’s cadres, and her real endeavor to resolve all obstacles, if any, to achieve the lofty and important goals of raising the scientific and academic level and striving to achieve the goal of “serving the Institute” and the educational process.
She stressed the importance of achieving cooperation and solidarity among the teaching staff, in order to maintain the scientific status of the Institute and its quality in an ideal manner.
The Assistant and the branch heads also emphasized some of the controls that were discussed in the Institute Council, which help achieve justice among teachers, in addition to commitment to official working hours.
