As part of the 6th International Scientific Conference of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Salwa Jabir Al-Awadi, the institute’s scientific halls—including Baghdad Hall, Discussion Hall, PhD Hall, and High Diploma Hall—hosted a distinguished series of scientific sessions presented by a group of local, Arab, and international researchers.
These sessions were chaired by professors from the institute, with notable academic participation and attendance from students of the institute as well as students from various colleges and universities across Iraq, adding a rich academic and interactive dimension to the event.
The scientific halls were organized by specialized committees formed by the institute’s deanship, which had previously prepared for the sessions and ensured a comfortable and conducive environment for both lecturers and researchers.
During the sessions, Dr. Al-Awadi conducted on-site tours of the halls, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a scientific atmosphere aligned with the primary goal of the conference: contributing to sustainable development through the advancement of scientific research and applied knowledge.
