Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies / University of Baghdad, and in cooperation with the National Blood Donation Center, the institute’s discussion hall hosted a national blood donation campaign.
A number of the institute’s professors, staff, and students participated in the campaign, which is considered a support for a noble humanitarian mission that contributes to saving lives and fostering a spirit of giving and solidarity within society.
This initiative aims to support patients and those in need, while also reinforcing the values of cooperation and community solidarity. Blood donation is regarded as a noble act that helps save lives and spread hope.
On the sidelines of organizing and participating in the campaign, Dr. Al-Awadi remarked, “It is a beautiful thing to take part in an act that might bring life back to those burdened by pain, and at the same time, it is a source of reward and blessing for all participants.”
