The Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad conducted a proficiency exam for students from the Department of Forensic Science, College of Science at Al-Israa University, who had undergone their summer training at the Institute. The training program included eight scientific lectures in their specialized field, delivered by the Institute’s professors.
A total of 30 students participated in the exam, which was supervised by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi, the Head of Training, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Ameer Mohammed Gharib, and the training team members: Dr. Rami Ali Taqi (Lecturer) and Senior Biologist Shahed Ziyad Khalil.
At the conclusion of the exam, Dr. Al-Awadi delivered her closing remarks to the students, expressing her wishes for their bright future and affirming that the doors of the Institute of Genetic Engineering will remain open to them for any matter that may contribute to building their academic and scientific careers.
She also extended her gratitude to the Head and members of the training team for their great efforts in organizing and managing the students’ training program, as well as to the Institute’s faculty members who delivered both theoretical and practical scientific lectures, and to the laboratory technicians for their support.
