The Institutional Accreditation Team visited the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad as part of the procedures for applying for institutional accreditation, in order to review the academic and educational status of the Institute.
The visit included an evaluation of the scientific axis, during which a meeting was held with the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi, who explained the approved mechanisms for implementing research plans for postgraduate students and faculty members, as well as matters related to intellectual property requirements and compliance with laboratory safety procedures.
The delegation also toured the Institute’s laboratories and library to review the scientific capabilities and the supporting infrastructure for academic and research activities.
