A delegation from the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies / University of Baghdad paid a special visit to the Higher Institute of Forensic Sciences at Al-Nahrain University, headed by the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi. The delegation was received by the Dean of the Higher Institute, Professor Dr. Diaa Shamakhi Al-Rubaie, along with the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, and the Head of the Forensic Engineering Department.
During the meeting, both sides discussed prospects for scientific and academic cooperation between the Institute of Genetic Engineering and the Higher Institute of Forensic Sciences. The discussions focused on the participation of the Higher Institute as a supporting body in the scientific conference to be organized by the Institute, contributing to the enhancement of scientific integration and the exchange of expertise between academic institutions.
The meeting also addressed the possibility of involving a number of faculty members and staff from the Higher Institute of Forensic Sciences in the conference committees.
